Truepic is enterprise provenance infrastructure that cryptographically signs media at capture using the C2PA standard; BSmeter is a consumer fact-checker for video that already exists. If you need tamper-evident proof of a file's origin for insurance claims or underwriting, BSmeter cannot do that and you should use Truepic. If you searched for a 'Truepic alternative' because you actually want to know whether a YouTuber's claims are true, that's BSmeter's job, not Truepic's.

If a video has Truepic Content Credentials, do I still need to fact-check it?

Yes. Provenance and accuracy are separate things. Content Credentials tell you the footage is a genuine, unaltered recording from a known device at a known time — they say nothing about whether the person on camera is stating facts. A verifiably real video of someone confidently citing a made-up statistic is still a video of a made-up statistic. Truepic handles the first question; BSmeter handles the second.
