Not really, and we would rather say so than sell you something. PesaCheck is an accredited newsroom of human researchers producing citable verdicts, mostly on African public finance and regional misinformation. BSmeter is an automated tool that checks whatever video you paste. We do not replace their editorial rigour or their accreditation, and they do not offer on-demand checking of arbitrary videos. Most people are better served using both.

Yes. Its researchers regularly debunk doctored and misattributed footage — manipulated speeches, altered clips, fake TikTok accounts — and publish ALTERED or MANIPULATED verdicts.
